Mary Queen of Scots
Mary, Queen of Scots is one of the most romantic figures in Scottish history and arguably, Scotland's most famous monarch. Her short, tempestuous life encompassed more drama, romance and tragedy than even a modern day romantic novelist could envisage.
As Mary was at one time Queen of both Scotland and France, and famously claimed to be the righful monarch of England, our inspired designs feature the Thistle of Scotland, the Rose of England and the Fleur De Lis of France, all set in a heart surmounted by Mary's Royal Crown.
Before her horrific death by execution, Mary quoted the renowned phrase "In My End is My Beginning", foretelling that she would become more famous in death than in life.
