From our Mary Queen of Scots collection, a highly attractive pair of Sterling Silver Drop Earrings, with a design based on the romantic and tragic life of Mary Queen of Scots. As Mary was at one time Queen of both Scotland and France, and famously claimed to be the rightful monarch of England, the design features the Thistle of Scotland, the Rose of England and the Fleur De Lis of France, all set in a heart surmounted by Mary's Royal Crown and enhanced with Amethyst colour stones.

Around the heart the following words are carefully embossed - 'In My End is My Beginning'. This was the phrase which Mary famously penned before her grisly death at the hands of the executioner, which foretold that she would become more famous in death than in life.
